Ardent Blues Cricket Club was founded in 2023 by a passionate group of individuals from Belfast, Northern Ireland, with a vision to create a cricketing community that values diversity, equal opportunities, and the spirit of the game.
Our club is more than just a cricket team; it’s a community-driven initiative built on the foundation of inclusivity and unity. Since our inception, we’ve competed proudly in multiple leagues, initially fielding three teams and expanding to four in 2024. In our first year, Ardent Blues achieved success by securing victory in one of the leagues and the cup, a testament to the talent and unity that defines our club.
Proudly registered under the Northern Cricket Union, Ardent Blues embodies the values of community, inclusivity, and a deep love for cricket. Our roots trace back to the passion of our founding members, many of whom hail from Kerala, India.
At Ardent Blues Cricket Club, we believe in creating a space where players of all skill levels and backgrounds feel welcomed. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a novice looking to explore the game, there’s a place for you here. Membership & Discounts: Encouraging Inclusivity
At Ardent Blues Cricket Club, we recognize the importance of creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. To encourage participation from diverse age groups and promote gender inclusivity, we are proud to introduce an annual membership discount for:
- Individuals under 17 years old.
- Individuals over 50 years old.
- Female members.
This initiative reflects our commitment to making cricket a sport for everyone, fostering a vibrant and diverse cricketing community.
Membership Details
We currently offer full memberships to all individuals, enabling members to compete in any of the four leagues under the Northern Cricket Union (NCU) for the 2024 season.
- Code of Conduct: All members are required to review, sign, and abide by the Ardent Blues Cricket Club Code of Conduct, emphasizing integrity, sportsmanship, and respect.
- Annual Renewal: Memberships must be renewed each year to maintain active status.
